  The search to find air was a success, but even with that miracle, there is little wind in Petal's sails. It was a very long 6.5 miles for her. The ride back was tough. I should have turned us around at Sagamore.  This is the railroad bridge in Bourne. It is a unique design, with the center section lowering when needed to allow the train to cross. The new windmill at Mass Maritime Academy is visible to the right.  Dark birds stand sentry on the light fixtures along the Cape Cod Canal trail. Could these be buzzards, waiting to prey on fallen bicyclists?
